Full-time, Commission Salary: $42,000.00 / year

Hughes Telephone, Inc. is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our B2B cloud communications sales team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform sales functions not limited to, but including prospecting, qualifying potential clients, account penetration and site assessments
  • Meet and exceed company sales expectations to drive substantial revenue growth and increase market share
  • Cultivate and sustain solid business relationships with existing customers and prospects alike using email, phone calls and in person meetings
  • Build on customer relationships by developing rapport while providing prompt support post sale and pre-sale
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and competition
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and referrals
  • Meet with potential clients to conduct a thorough assessment of their network and a needs analysis
  • Create detailed solution proposals which are typically determined by the information gathered during site surveys and needs assessments
  • Work closely with technical team to ensure proposed solutions are thorough and accurate
  • Provide detailed and accurate weekly/ monthly sales forecasts to sales manager
  • Maintain an updated knowledge of the latest technologies in our product suite
  • Travel within an approximate 50-mile radius of the Quad Cities


  • 3 -5 years sales or relevant experience is preferred but not required
  • Must be a confident, results driven individual demonstrating ambition to succeed.
  • Understanding of voice and data technologies preferred but not required. Sales support, product training and learning resources are provided to assist in employee development
  • Strong presentation skills are critical in this role
  • Must be able to articulate proposed solutions to a variety of influencers and decision makers
  • Must be a fast learner and have a passion for solution-based sales with an analytical mindset for problem solving
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite with an emphasis on Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Must have valid driver’s license
